The countdown tot he Kickstarter begins!

With the completion of the 5e Creatures from Fairy-Tale and Myth (which had consumed every day for the last month), we're starting the countdown to our next Kickstarter!

This isn't a surprise, many have played demos over the past year at conventions using the new pregens. The reception has been super positive! The Children of Eriu will feature RGS 3.0 with the key improvements that we made over the last 7 years. I am working to keep it mechanically compatible with RGS 2.0 but there are some rough edges that need to be worked out. This is why the Creatures from Fairy-Tale and Myth FOTN edition will be released later than intended. I want that book to serve both RGS 2.0 and 3.0. It would make little sense to release it under RGS 2.0 while a kickstarter is on for a 3.0 RPG.

My ultimate goal here will be to release a free PDF to all on how to use both systems side by side. This will allow players with RGS 2.0 to have the information at their fingertips when they join their character into an RGS 3.0 game world. The design goal is that you'll be able to have dwellers and monsters straddle the divide.

So sorry! The date was contingent on the Creatures from Fairy-Tale and Myth 5e release. Good news, it's launching tomorrow!
