So my players and I like really low level items. I like them since I can give them out a little more liberally without unbalancing the game too much, which makes them excited since they like getting stuff. I get to reinforce the high magic level of my setting. They get to find so many fun roleplay moments and creative solutions. Some of the ones (both official and homebrew) that I’ve handed out have included the bag of sustenance, the inextinguishable torch from from one of the divine brushes with power in DOTN, rings of reading (while wearing it, you have 1 rank in reading/writing), and something called the Smiling Skull Ring (+1 focus, +1 commune with dead).
Does anyone have any ideas for similarly low level magic items? Things that don’t necessarily have the biggest mechanical impact, but can make for really awesome moments. There are some really cool items in DOTN, but a lot of them aren’t the sort of super low QR accessory type things I’m lookin for.

Re: Really low QR magic items
For super low, you mean less than 7 QR? The reason we didn't design any for the books is that they're on par with default buyable gear and if it's something that's infused or realm ores, at such a low QR level, you just pick 1 or 2 powers/ores/reliquaries and you're off to the races

Yeah, but I mean more out of the box type stuff. Things that don’t necessarily come down to just any old power. Anyone can point at a page and say “that’s on an item now.”
I’m talking about really interesting things that seem really unique. Things like the bag of sustenance of sampo of prosperity. Things like that.

Boots that don’t leave tracks, dice that land on whatever you choose, boots that halve your speed on land and double it in water. These are the sorts of unique things I’m talking about if you don’t want something on such a grand scale as a mill that can turn snow into gold.
