As someone who lived under a rock when it comes to FOTN for the last 3 years, what is Children of Eriu ?

Re: Children of Eriu
The Children of Eriu is our next Kickstarter. It began as a lore book similar to Denizens of the North and Lords of the Ash, but has now morphed into a stand alone RPG book. It will introduce a new RGS that is more streamlined, but remains compatible with the Ragnarok RGS. It adds social mechanics and adds emotional conditions (good and bad). Any complex math in powers, metas and conditions has been stripped out (I'm looking at you Eldritch). Upkeep also goes away, with brand new powers that work during the action phase, speeding up combat rounds significantly.Audun wrote:Ok I'll bite :

I know Celtic mythology, but I partnered with two guys, Matt and Tyler who put me to shame when it comes to this mythology and history... expect a super authentic world.
As a stand alone book, it'll have archetypes, advanced Disir archetypes, its own afterlife mechanics, and new monsters also compatible with The Creatures from Fairy Tale and Myth.
Our artist Julliane who made most of the artwork for The Creatures from Fairy Tale and Myth returns to illustrate this book.

Re: Children of Eriu
Hi andrew,
A post on another forum made me think of this. I'm from Ireland and can speak Gaelic. Would it be alright to stick up a page of recordings of the Gaelic words in this online to help others pronounce them? Obviously it would be in modern Irish, not the Old Gaelic of the Sagas, but thought it might be cool.

Yes please do, we'll need pronunciation guides for these archetypes and powers for sure. I'll be able to link the Children of Eriu pre-gens soon.Séadna wrote:Hi andrew,

Re: Children of Eriu
Art work is beautiful, as usual.
How unlikely is it to get a sneak peak of some of the content?

Re: Children of Eriu
Just skimming through this beauty of a book, I noticed what I believe to be a mistake: Page No.125 (Figures) - I believe "Caer Ibormeith" is missing her headline?
Re: Children of Eriu
Awesome thanks, keep 'em coming!
Re: Children of Eriu
Will this book be available on the website store, or is it KS only? Hoping I can get my hands on it when it's out--I'm late to the party.
Also, hi everyone!
