How about no size-limit, but damage and pierce depend on the size? For example: damage = size, pierce = size -1
I think that errata was written many moons ago. And is also a typo. The version I have in the most recent version of the PDF is
Transform a size 3 weapon adjacent to you into an aggressive snake [Counter: S] that deals +3 P damage with Pierce 2 to wielder.
Which makes far more sense. I think I would tack a "or smaller" onto the size restriction. Also, it is useful to note that the amplify on this power should be able to influence the size of the weapon affected, meaning a single amplify can get two handers.
We're probably due for another errata update for CRB and DotN, but it will have to wait until Lords of the Ash is out. LotA is expanding the universe significantly and some new concepts such as denizen attributes will need to be retroactively applied in the older books. I'm also aiming for a new RGS redux (rewording and cleanup) which will first make an online appearance and then hopefully make it into the pages of LotA. I will keep this thread updated as we near a next printing.

This will most likely happen after the Bestiary kickstarter. We have a few priorities before then: Vanagard, Mistletoe Spear novel, Norn screen update and the Bestiary... so late 2018.
