Another Gate Question
I didn't see this anywhere that I could find in the forums, so I thought I would ask. When a player or an NPC gates something into existence, and they are defeated, since they control the creature's actions, does it disperse when they die or does it keep on trucking? I would assume it would go away when the entity controlling it was no longer able to exert control, but I thought I'd ask about this first.
Foolish is he who lies awake
And frets at night in worry.
A weary man when morning comes
He finds all as bad as before
And frets at night in worry.
A weary man when morning comes
He finds all as bad as before
Re: Another Gate Question
I consider it the effect of an active power, and only exists as long as you Maintain it. Thus, when the person who created it dies, it goes away.
Denizens says the same thing, essentially... once the rune for the gate power leaves In-Play, the gated creature ceases to exist. p347
