Did this go anywhere? Seems like TTS would be an easier place to play than roll20 due to deck/rune bag options.

I have not pursued it any further. Real life has gotten in the way for the most part, and I'm actually not really for mimicking the table top experience like this with a computer. It's missing the control a human would have with hands, and is pretty clumsy. I do like roll20's model for this. It works pretty well and not too cumbersome.

Really, the right way would be something like the iPad app and add in a linked character sheet. That way your powers are quickly referenced, your time bag stays up to date, and there are possibilities for autocalculating things. For example, you move power attack into play, you get a bubble up that calculates your DF for the attack. You move in an amplify it does the math for you. You move in a Multi it appaends a note that says "to three targets". If you touched on a rune it could pop up a tool tip to tell you what the power does. Have the app link up with others via Bluetooth or wifi and then the norm could have a special one

Half the players I play RPGs with are in different time zones so an online solution is somewhat required if I'm going to play with them.

As far as Tabletop Simulator, I continued playing with things; the runes are in as tokens and I added the dweller playmat. Character sheets look like they will be complicated and the runes for abilities look to be difficult on top of that.

I know there will at least one person on here who has done a roll20 game to good effect. You might search and see if he has any advice. I forget who it is unfortunately.

Very nice! I logged into tabletop simulator the other day and there had been many improvements in the nearly two years since I had messed with it. Seems like it is helping a bunch!

They implemented VR recently so 2 of my players are going to be playing in VR!

That looks awesome! Do you guys know if it supports creating and managing hexagonal playing cards?

Depends on what you mean and what you are using it for. All "cards" are actually rectangles but you can use transparency in the card images to make the backs look hexagonal. You can make tokens or tiles hexagonal, though all tokens are double-sided with the same image. There is a hex grid option for the table surface for the combat map that you can specify grid sizes as well.

Probably other solutions, what were you thinking of?
