FOTN Evangelists

Just thought I'd let you know that I've started a campaign of Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok at the Gamers Guild tabletop RPG club in Perth, Western Australia. (I met you briefly at Gencon in 2013).

We're playing on a fortnightly basis and I'm doing what I can to recruit new players!

I didn't get to do a lot of evangelism myself, so we relied on banner ads this quarter. As usual rpg.net forums move quite a few eye balls and a thread started by Chall was a big driver. There was someone bumping the thread on an almost daily basis as well- Vulsamee. Seems like a new player, I will invite him/her to the forums.

I think they both make the evangelist of the quarter award this time around! Grats CHALL and VULSAMEE!

We'll get the addresses and ship out some Viking loot your way.

Keep your games going, snap some pics and we'll award some more prizes in February/March.

Fellow raiders! I helped trying to campaign with this thread. Name on the thread was Vulsamee. Odin's gospel (and thus FotN) must be spread!! I don't play as much ad I'd like but I love to see FotN flourish.

I was at PAX Australia this weekend and spent some time chatting to the guys at the Syrinscape booth. (Syrinscape is an app for doing dynamically-generated RPG soundtracks & ambient atmosphere, and on-demand sound effects, on Windows, Mac, iPhone/iPad, and Android; if that sounds interesting to you check out the link.)

Anyway, one of the guys running the booth runs a YouTube channel called DiceStormers, with about 6,000 subscribers, where they try out various games. He asked me what games I've been playing lately so I reeled them off... Ars Magica 5th Edition; Warhammer 40,000 Only War; Shadowrun 5th Edition; Star Wars Edge of the Empire... and Fate of the Norns: Ragnarok. This definitely piqued his interest since it was probably the only game he hadn't heard of in that lot. I spent some time describing the rune-driven tactical gameplay and interesting setting, and showed him some PDFs on my iPad. He's interested in covering the game on his YouTube channel, so I think it would be a good for you to get in touch.

Congrats folks!

In great news, I told my group that the Conan game was taking a break as of last night and FOTN is in the next mix. So active campaign over the next month or so! I have a lot of travel coming up so I might not be starting until end of April but it's happening!
