Yes the Silver Stag should be there. I don't know if that was a link issue with inDesign. It links to external image and text files when generating the chapters. Definitely a major issue we'll correct with the next update. The weird occurrences of "i" appear when an x86 TXT file is converted to MacOS (for some ASCII characters). I thought we stamped them all out, but you guys are awesome and found some stragglers. All of the final BETA texts were supplied for layout, so if one seems out of date, possibly others may be as well. Can the BETA folks kindly check for the last updates on the archetypes and powers please? There were no 11th hour changes, so the last BETA docs you have from 11-26.
Thanks!!!

Druid:
- still has Sly Stance instead of Power over Wind
- Alka Mastery instead of Alka Kinship
Fardrengir:
- Hamstring instead of Regenerating Attack and vice versa.

[edit] It seems that the updates from the Nov, 7th CHANGE LOG are missing:
Hopefully, any bugsquashing/typo-fixing done in that version isn't missing as well ^^;==========
- A couple of cut and paste merge mistakes have been caught. Even though the BETA is over, we need all you BETA guys to keep your eyes open please.
- Small power board tweaks for Druid and Fardrengir to optimize choices at ultra-low levels.
Re: Denizens of the North Errata
Is intended that Caliburn have the Blind meta?
Re: Denizens of the North Errata
Doubt it, as with a normal Meta, and assuming that the Dvergar Engeneering ability costs 1 QR, then it would be exactly QR 27 - as listed.
Should be QR 31 with Blind.

In fact it is BlindAudun wrote:Doubt it, as with a normal Meta, and assuming that the Dvergar Engeneering ability costs 1 QR, then it would be exactly QR 27 - as listed.

QR: 27
5 -> DF: 5
1 -> Pierce: 2
2 -> Reach: 2
5 -> Parry: 5
9 -> Focus: 3
4 -> Meta: Blind (see non-standard meta in table 7)
1 -> Dvergar Engineering: Worthy

Major error!
"Hrokkvir (Ent)" is missing (should be after Giant Spider and before Leader)

Re: Denizens of the North Errata
Thanks for texting me Tshober, that's a HUGE find. Seriously after reading this book dozens of times my eyes see what they want to see. So the next PDF will have 8 extra pages.
We need these big finds guys, please do some mirroring with the BETA doc for any other major oversights.
Thanks for the small finds too, everything is getting corrected prior to print.
ps. How are you guys liking the book?

Re: Denizens of the North Errata
liking the book great!
Honestly, I think I wish DOTN and the core book were one book. Not to be mean at all, but the core book is missing what I feel is really critical content that appears in DOTN. Things like a ranger class and a thief class (two classic archetypes that helps getting in new players from generic fantasy RPGs) and a berserkir (i mean... it's a viking rpg... it feels a little wrong without one). The whole first section with the history and backgrounds gives A LOT of context to the world which is hard to get out of the core book. The crafting rules/blacksmith which go a long ways towards balancing out offense and defense. Rules for mounts - this is a game that really makes them work well, it's good to highlight it. The sagas in the back - it's just so much more robust, and combined with the history in the front, it really gives you a great feel of what's going on.
It feels far more complete with DOTN. So much so that if someone asked me, I'd tell them to buy both, because they really need each other badly. That's a lot of book, I know (like 365 for the core book, 421 with your +8 pages to DOTN - I think 787 is probably as much as any set of D&D PHB, MM, and DMG), but definitely worth it
