Also, hi everyone!
It sure will, as soon as the Kickstarter backers get their copies.

Don't worry it will come to the webstore and every other outlet Pendelhaven uses. It's just the current woes of pandemic-filled print delays have hampered the rollout.

Hello! I was never able to find an email in my spam folder with the pdf codes. Any chance that you can resend that email? Thank you!

Please email kickstarter@fateofthenorns.com with your PledgeManager info and we'll get you sorted out. If your name is Anja, our replies have been bouncing to your email address for weeks.

Hi

I bought Fate of the Norns Ragnarok around 2 years ago because I was intreagued by the artwork.
Now I am starting a Saga as a Norn and started to buy the other supplements.
I am still a bit new so I am not sure about Children of Eriu. This is for a pure Celtic RPg right?
So if I want to play in the Norse mythology of FotN then Children of Eriu is the wrong book right?
Because as far as I understand it, even tough it reworks the Runic System it gives nothing for the Norse stuff of FotN.
Or am I misunderstanding something? Is there some stuff in this book that I can use in my FotN saga?

I've never run the previous FoTN stuff, only Children of Eriu.

The CoE book is setup with it's own arch-types appropriate to the Celtic world. So, instead of Seithkona, Galdr, and Skald there are Bandrui, Monks, and Horned Ones. The book includes the most up-to-date version of the runic game rules, and it also includes denizens appropriate for those characters to interact with. Also includes the leaders/key personalities for the region, and notes for each area or major urban spot, plus rumors, folklore, history and notes on culture/faith.

My campaign runs in the Inner Hebrides, and that area is mostly under the control of Vikings... or more appropriately, Vik-Celt peoples who have been living together and inter-marrying for 2-3 generations, with all the mixed up troubles that brings. I use a fair amount of name drops, culture cross-overs, and denizens from farther north, and it works fine. I assume it would work in reverse... if you ran a campaign that interacted with the region the book would be useful in reverse.

The Gallóglach Fianna alone would be a possible tie-in (described as: Warriors of shared Celtic and Norse heritage who have merged both their cultures and the best of their fighting practices). That could give a player a new arch-type option, even if only one that sailed north into the traditional Viking areas.

Someone else on here might have more experience mixing the two together, and might be able to tell you more than me. Since the rules change a little between editions, you may need to adjust or modernize in places to make things fit. Creatures from Fairy-Tale and Myth had some rules for mixing RGS2 and RGS3, if that's of interest to you.
