The setting without the hungry wolves.

Post by Armos Black »

Hey all, it is my understanding the land of Midgard is in complete night with no starry sky. Has anyone run the setting without Hatti and Skol devouring the Sun and Moon? Does it change the setting too much? I am a big fan of Norse Myth and the show Vikings. Was thinking about a game more close to the show with deep Myth additions.

This was requested after the Core Rulebook was released, so there are a few adventure vignettes at the back of Denizens of the North that cover that time period.

Great! I will have to deep dive into DotN. Have had the books for a few years and never got the opportunity to run the game. Finally convinced my wife to play a short game for our small You Tube audios. So I went overboard and got her a rune set, laminated mats and LotA for myself. Yeah... we are only running Fafnir's Treasure. She is a Celt but agreed to spend the winter in my homeland.

Sorry about being long-winded. Skol!
