I don't know if people are familiar with his youtube channel. He's an academic specialising in the Nordic languages and has translated the Poetic Edda and the Saga of the Volsungs (with its "sequel" the Saga of Ragnar Lothbrok).
He takes a fairly sober academic approach to the mythology which I really enjoy, thought others might be interested.
