Icelandic and Old Norse

Post by Séadna »

Just recently got into Fate of the Norns, so new to the game!

I'm just wondering, considering the game's background, has anybody here learned Icelandic or Old Norse? If so, what books did you use or how did you learn it?

Thanks guys! I already had a fairly strong urge to purchase that book (just looked fun from previews + amazon reviews), but this clinches it for me!

The old Teach Yourself (Modern) Icelandic from the 60s has a chapter on Old Icelandic, but that's not the same as a proper intro.
