Drivethrurpg has both premium and standard versions. What's the difference? Didn't see any clear indication

Edit: not 3 minutes later I find it. Thanks.

Could say what the difference is? I can't find it myself.

Thank you, sir. I didn't realize the information was on DriveThruRPG's site. I thought it was specific to Fate of the Norns.

I did as well. I have no idea why. I ended up googling it at one point and found it.

I would recommend getting any FotN book in premium. They are extremely colorful and will benefit from the premium process more than other products.

Yeah, I ordered it in Premium last night and started digging into the pdf. It looks great. Thanks again for the info.

Anyone got a conversion of the paper quality to other countries' measurements ?
Right now, the following sentence does not ring anything in my brain:
Quote:
Both B&W and standard color books are printed on 50-lb. standard white paper. Premium color books are printed on 70-lb. white paper.

What quality is 50lb.?
What does it stand for ? The weight (50 or 70 lb.) of a sheet of paper of XX size ? What size ?

Or perhaps someone can help me compare:
Normal, cheap printer paper = xx lb?
Good printer paper (for color graphic prints) = yy lb ?

Sorry to ask so many seemingly minor specifics, but I think most non-US ppl could need a way to convert those 2 numbers into their respective paper-quality-system.

there isn't a good way to convert, because American weights also reflect a length/width of the paper.

http://okpaper.com/calculators/lbs-to-gsm seems to help though.

The weight of paper refers to the weight of a ream. Unfortunately it requires knowing the size and number of sheets in the ream being measured. GSM (grams per square meter) is a more useful system as it does not rely on knowing te dimensions of a base sheet.

My FotN books are all standard and look flat and dull. They are perfectly serviceable, but the books for other games that I have on deluxe paper do pop more visually.

If I buy Fafnir's Treasure from DriveThru I have an option for print versions.

If I buy it directly from the FotN store the price is $30 and there is no option. Does this mean it is the standard version? Or is it premium at a price less than that on the DriveThru site?

Thanks!
