Alabaster Magician says [PDF rules]:
During Upkeep, pay a Minor Sacrifice +2 to gain Focus +1 for the current combat round

my question is: can a Seithkona with Alabaster Magician and Die Hard and Ess 6 do this twice in Upkeep [sac 4 runes to get Focus +2] and then Recover 4 [from Die Hard]?

Effectively the Seithkona suffers no detrimental effects from the sacrifice. This seems very overpowered, should it be only once per Upkeep?

OK, so thats 2 questions :)

The global rule is that a Passive may be triggered once per round. If you have Keen Aptitude, then you can multi-trigger a passive by the number of copies you have.

edit: I'll add this to the FAQ since I suspect this would be a common question

In these circumstances does Keen Aptitude still double the effect of the passive?

So for Alabaster Magician the effect would become a Focus +2 for the current combat round.

Reading Keen Aptitude says you sum the power, so I would say it generates a Focus +2, rather than two effects triggering for Focus +1
each

Dudes read the first part of Keen Aptitude: when it's time to level up you're going to pick a passive you already learned instead of a new one. Basically stacking it (2 instances). Yes theoretically the effect doubles, but technically the implications are more fun. You can use Fire Aura to turn it on and then the copy from Keen Aptitude to turn it off. Have 2 keen aptitudes? Then turn it on again: double aura hit!

Peace
