Conjure Weapon And Focus

I have just started playing FotN with some friends and am wondering how/if Focus interacts with Conjure Weapon, specifically.
e.g.
Focus 3
Spirit 2
Do I end up with a DF 4 weapon?

Can I cast Conjure Weapon with Focus into DF and maintain it? If so, do I need to reapply Focus each round, ie. would the maintained conjured weapon revert to regular value at beginning of each round?

I would think no, since it's not numeric explicitly. Andrew would say for certain though

AFAIK, if you cast it with focus, it keeps the focus with the maintain

Focus applies to any numerical values in {spell} powers. Since the DF (etc) stats are numerical then yes, I allow focus to be added to the spell. Some groups argue that the numbers aren't present in the description, so it doesn't apply, and that's fine as well, so long as the application of the rule is consistent across all powers.

The reason I allow it is simply the total QR value of the power. QR or Quality Rating is a point system that is used for all items and powers to ensure that everything is balanced. Every effect has an associated QR cost and you can get a peek under the hood in the QR costs in the craft skill found in Denizens of the North as well as the Orlog and Valkyrie powers in Lords of the Ash. An entry level character will probably have 6 Essence (give or take) which is equivalent to the max QR found in entry-level weapons. An active power should grant a little more than your off the shelf power level, so by allowing Focus to add to this power, you grant the power the ability to shine a little brighter than your stock items (at low levels).

And yes, as Raleel stated, focus remains on maintained powers.
