I'd add
Lords of the Rings and the
Hobbit today. Tolkein was heavily influenced by the Norse myths.
Beowulf the animated movie- if you can get past the bad CGI, it's a pretty great story.
Conan the Barbarian is also superb as inspiration for questing.
Gladiator can also be a good inspiration for an RPG tale that involves thralls and liberation... or perhaps just an ancient tale that picks up at the start of the Viking age and the end of the Roman empire.
Similarly I would add
Excalibur (1981) to the mix as a longer epic where you can play different generations and a shift as one age ends and another begins.

Braveheart would be another good one to get some campaign ideas for the Great Isles.
and I think
Willow (1988), but it's been a long time since I saw it. I do have memories that it did inspire some adventures in our D&D game back in the day.
Anyone else have some good suggestions?
