Less of an errata and more of a super minor typo:

The tables for beckoning higher powers, the plural for "runes" needs fixing in the first table.

Happy New Year to everyone!

Pages 163 and 175 mention a Riding skill that should be found at page 297, but seems to be missing.

Pages 162, 166 and 272 do not agree on whether the Passive Power should be called Companion in Life or Companion of Life.

One more we just discovered while playing in our weekly game last night:

page 87: "Contingency (Urd): When a contingency action is decalred, a condition is stated and the associated runes are placed in this pile."

The trigger and subsequent activation only occurs when the condition is met.

Damn I see what happened. We applied the Errata in October on top of the files from July. OK, not the end of the world. Next Errata update will be before end of year and we'll use the September files.

Thanks for updating, no wonder I was scratching my head back then why there were seemingly so many inconsistencies between the pdf-version and the book-version.
Also thanks to raleel for collecting those.

1 question remains though. The book states Chant to Skuld's Meta's as Amp/Amp/Amp, the new pdf states Range/Area/Amplify.
Is this considered an Errata to the book then ?

(also, small follow-up: If the new version is correct: can you increase the number of runes wyrded with focus when using a <spell> version? A Skald with ~2 focus seems to be able to easily grant ~3 extra Runes to the whole party each turn due to the "free" 2 area meta, is this intended ? (spend 1 rune to get ~3 new ones, also applies to your whole group))

Welcome back, great to hear about your adventures so far! :)

Yeah Denizens of the North will clearly state a few clarifications and rules evolutions:

1) Keen Aptitude and a scaling Passive power are to be ruled on by individual Norns. If they have a monty haul campaign, then let it happen, but if they are playing low fantasy more mortal campaigns, then it should be disallowed.

2) Focus already doesn't stack on condition intensities nor focus. We add rune pulls to that list. Chant of Skuld was designed specifically as non-spell. But it's not hard to imagine some new spells that will allow for extra rune pulls.

Checking the December PDF, this seems to be missing still (forgive a few liberties):

Page 87: "Contingency (Urd): When a contingency action is declared, a condition is stated and the associated runes are placed in this pile."
The trigger and subsequent activation only occurs when the condition is met.

Page 94: Dweller 2 (not 1) comes after Denizen 1.

Page 100: The tables fail to use "Runes" in plural form several times.

Page 158: The example text could perhaps use some reformatting, with the comments separated from the power description. Hvergelmir's Poison might also be a better example, since it is actually found in the basic archetypes (see p. 173 and 236).

Pages 162, 166 and 272 do not agree on whether the Passive Power should be called Companion in Life or Companion of Life. The lesser correction would be changing 162 to "Companion in Life".

Pages 163 and 175 mention a Riding skill that should be found at page 297, but seems to be missing.

Page 220: The left bottom corner of the Shadow Skui active power board should be changed to "Chant of Skuld". The December PDF attempts to correct but still mispells "Chant" as "Chand".

Page 251: Possess Opponent is dealing +2 Spiritual damage. Might be worth expanding the "S" to "Spiritual".

Page 302: Several of the robes have cost 260, which may be a mistake. It is unclear to me whether the parry of Heavy Divine Robes is meant to be zero (it was +3 in previous revisions of the text).

Page 324: References Fast Talk skill, not found in the Core Book.

Thanks I'm thinking a March PDF update would be good

Just a curiosity, are print copies based on the most recent PDF?

If I were to order a second copy in say April would it include all the updates through the March revision?

IIRC the last update we did to the print books was in November, so we'll try and do both in March.

No pressure, I'm (still) not running (yet). But I do have at least three potential players so it is just a matter of time. I would by a second fully updated copy for myself and pass my first printing on to the players for their use.
