Just noticed my Core Rulebook is missing the first 8 pages.
So it starts at page 9, with the table of contents listing the first page as page 133
Has anybody else got this issue?

That isn't right! I just jumped off my chair, almost spilled my coffee in order to rip open a case and check a dozen books. They don't have that problem, but what you have is definitely an issue from the printer. Let me know if there are any more errors and please e-mail the pics about the book's issues to info[at]fateofthenorns

Thanks for the quick response.
Hopefully this is just a one off.

I have contacted Amazon.co.uk ( I hadnt realised till this week that Amazon had the book).
They have agreed to replace the book so hopefully all will be fine.
I'll report back with details once I know.

Dont spill the coffee though! I'd be really to sorry to hear nasty staining liquids getting near such beautiful books. Grin.

Just to say. Got my new copy of the book, and its all fine.
Book Depository in the UK have been excellent and would recommend them.
No quibbles and got a replacement very quickly.

Quality book, with an strongly thematic system!

I ordered a copy from DriveThruRPG and it arrived beginning on page 85. I contacted customer service and they have sorted me out with a new copy that is complete. It seems Lightning Source occasionally makes printing errors.

The up side is that I now have three rule books for the price of two. The rules start on page 83, so the imperfect copy is really only missing the world background section.

Customer service from DriveThru was very fast and efficient. They turned my issue around in less than 24 hours.
