Re: Vanagard BETA
Quick update: If anyone's in the Ottawa area I'm thinking of running a session in the Loft downtown on Saturday the 13th. For those of you who are interested in Roll20 give PM me or reply here and I can set something up. In the meantime I've been working on a more traditional RPG hack of the Vanagar...

Re: Thoughts on TRGS
You could link each Talent to a specific action. I did this when I was running a Talent Based Fate of the Norns playtest in Phantasm and it worked well. For example: Vargeisa the Fire Wolf (Letters represent runes because there's no rune fonts, that I know of, in these here forums). Talents Loki’s A...

Re: Thoughts on DRGS
That's a good point Raleel.
Be kind of neat if you could wyrd 1 rune per description, up to your Destiny.

Thoughts on DRGS
This looks awesome. If it can be refined it'd be great way to bring narrative folks into the game. * I like the idea of Wyrding and reading the runes to form sentences to determine what a character can do. * I'm slightly concerned of this slowing down game play when people pause to figure out what k...

Thoughts on TRGS
I like it, though I'd want to play test it a little. * I'm using a talent approach with Vanagard, though in Vanagard there's no default passive values, you draw and match to generate your score. TRGS may be a better approach for an immortals game, where we can know what great deeds characters can st...

Re: LotA Beta Updates
The TRPGS is similar but separated to the standard RGS. I believe the system is being set up to handle games that focus on Immortals to handle the scale of what they do easier, or you could use it for your regular game as well. It's the same sort of thing that was offered with the simpler game syste...

Re: Vanagard BETA
I've set up the cards in Vanagard Roll20. The online character sheets will not list talents and rune pairings because I can't figure out how to get Roll20 to show a runic font. However, each character will have a custom rune deck with the actual runes on them. In this regard we'll use the rune chart...

Re: Drowning - Yikes - Perhaps Rightfully So
Ugh....
I've have too much Vanagard on the brain. I'm forgetting about the damage tracks.
Drowning is still dangerous but not nearly as insta-kill as I'm thinkning.

Heh,
Or perhaps his Destiny is for one of Aegir's daughters to stumbled upon his corpse?
