Re: Norse Mythology Kickstarter
*On that unrelated note* I really need to. I'm absolutely dying to try out those new archetypes as I don't have a live setting for it. I just need to try a medium that allows for the strategy element better than the forums I was using previously, probably google+ hangouts or Roll20, that sort of thi...

Norse Mythology Kickstarter
There's less than 2 days left on it, but I just was alerted to it myself. For anyone who is inspired by fantastic images like I am, this is definitely worth your time. I have no affiliation to it, but want to help get the word out. Honestly, even if you don't have the means to support it, the image ...

Re: What player archetype do you want to see next?
I don't know the rogue will, I'm just not confident it will. But I'm fairly certain that the fardrengir will because the concept of being a master hunter seemed central to its concept, and hunting pretty universally utilizes range such as spears or arrows during this period.

Re: What player archetype do you want to see next?
As cool as a rogue character would be, I'd prefer the Fardrengir as well. It seems quite unique, and adds a ranged focus character. My vote already went to Berzerkir though, so I can only voice my opinion here, not in the survey.

Re: Levelling Up?
I believe they should level up after each "adventure". Usually this would be every gaming night, maybe every other depending on how quickly you get through each adventure. So after Fafnir's Treasure you can let them level. This is all obviously up to you, but I think this sets a nice pace,...

Re: Saga hooks
The Thawing. This is not so much a hook in the sense of a stand alone adventure, and more of a concept that could be inserted in several places. I will, however, conclude with a few adventure concepts that could be used as hooks. The Premise: During Ragnarok there are a number of "unusual"...

Re: Updates
That's fantastic news! I saw that the Kickstarter logo was added to the mainpage yesterday, which got me excited. I can't wait to find out what archetypes are being introduced (including the Blacksmith) and any information we can get through stretch goals I'll be all over. Thanks for the update!

There's a PDF version on Drivethrurpg that you can buy for $100
I'm checking constantly for the kickstarter to come up, too. But I think there's some conventions this weekend too, so likely won't see it until next week it seems.

Re: Some good links to some most excellent reading
I'm also currently reading The Long Ships by Frans G. Bengtsson, and it's phenomenal. It was recommended to me as the "if you only ever read one book about vikings, this is the one to read." Which is odd, because I try to read a lot of them, but this one somehow has stayed off of my radar ...
