One of the dwellers in my game is an Animist Druid with an Ash staff. She has Nature’s Child and only 2 ranks in Sacred Wood Binding, and yet that’s enough that WITHOUT ANY METAS WHATSOEVER, Forest’s Gaze is basically Heal +14. And that number gets even crazier once you start using Amplify, getting more tanks in sacred wood binding, or using it in conjunction with another another player’s area of effect heal.
Nature’s Child and Ash Wood give a +1 bonus “to any healing you perform or receive.” Question is, though, do performing and receiving stack? Meaning, for instance, with nature’s child, ash, and 2 ranks in SWB, if a Druid were to cast a healing spell on themselves, is that a +3 bonus for either performing or receiving the Heal, or is +3 for performing and another +3 for receiving? The second one seems pretty excessive, especially if they get Stitch Kindred, but I can also see how one might interpret it as such.
Side Note: obviously drinking a healing potion, a Druid would get their healing bonus, but what if they spent an action to pour that potion down someone else’s throat? Would that count as performing a Heal and grant the bonus, or no because the potion is the one doing the work?
