So. Let's say that a Norn is playing a Seithkona NPC who has levels of Possession. How would you work this? It's easy to simply say ".. its up to the Norn.." or to just roleplay it. However, Possession is an intrinsic mechanic for the Archetype, meant to directly affect roleplay AND to try to "chaotically balance" Seith Spells.

What do you guys think about actually giving one of the players control over the Runes from Possession?

I don't see a problem with that as a GM. I kind of assumed that's how most people do the Seithkona. But Andrew might have a better response. No one has used one yet in one of my games. However, as a player I once tried to play a Seithkona and not use Possession. That did not work out.

If you have the GM screen, there is a small table for personality and goal types of the spirit. I've also used the lifepath tables (Core Rulebook) to get the details more granular. I think if you have the right players around the table, you can definitely tap them for the possessed runes.
