I am very new to the game but so far really enjoying it. However I am a bit confused regarding Amplify.

1. Which ability attributes are amplified by an amplify meta?

2. If I use an amplify meta on an ability that involves a weak attack, in what order does one apply weak and amplify? Example: eye rake while armed with a hand axe.

1) Amplify works on actual numbers in the powers. So, if it says "two" it does not. if it says "+2" it does.

2) 1 amplify and 1 weak cancel each other out directly.

But which sources of numbers? Is it like the ambiguously worded amplify description that limits it to damage parry and evade or does it amplify anything that is an actual number like intensity of conditions?

It amplifies anything that is an actual number. The example there is if an item's attributes factor into the final effect directly - it appears to be there so that Reach and range don't get amplified (they do have their own metas)

Yes, conditions get amplified, in your example. So a quadruple amplified eye rake will inflict 3x damage (due to the weak) and 4x blind (full blind condition)

Thanks for the clarification on this. My gaming group had this exact question come up.
