First off hello everyone. I have been playing or reading the game for just over a year. I have run demos at my local store and introduced Fate of the Norns to about 15 new people.

Now on to my first of a million questions (I like to understand everything). So in our 3rd session at the store last night one player used Howl, Rally the Pack during upkeep. By this point my brain was broken as it's want to due and I didn't question him. But it really bothered me. He is an Ulfdenheir (sorry I probably spelled that wrong but I am at work without the books). How is this possible or is It?

I don't have my book in front of me at the moment, but I'm pretty sure you can't activate it during upkeep.

If he had played "Howl, Rally the Pack" last round with a Combo meta, then it would trigger again during rhe next round's Upkeep phase. Actives cannot be played during Upkeep.

"Rallying Pack Howl" is a passive power that does trigger during Upkeep and the names of both powers are very similar. You know which one was activated?

Hi Andrew. I honestly can't say as he kept his character sheet. Normally I do in between games. We are supposed to be playing again tonight for the 4th time in a week. If we do I will find out. I'm the Norn without a memory.
