Back to that pesky question about light.

What are the none Norse gods doing about all this... if one heads to England is the white god bathing the lands he watches over in light? What about the celts? Is the north the only area in pitch black darkness or has the whole world followed?

Not a critical issue, but something i was pondering on considering the art work and some location descriptions.

And yes after i think 3 months off, the Bkk game is back again...

Most of the higher-powers are at war. They are fighting to survive or are working to bump off their competition. fimbulwinter is said to exist for only 3 years, so either you enter the second age of Ragnarok, and the denizens have figured out how to reforge the sun and moon (see starter vignettes at the back of DotN) or another pantheon's higher powers have intervened- it's up to your play group.

As for the scope, the FOTN world assumes that *all* of Yggdrasil has embraced the eternal night. You have mentions where the southern Holy Roman Empire says to itself, "WTF just happened? Didn't those northerner's predict this would happen? Let's bring our crusaders north and see what the heathens have done."

Looking forward to seeing more session write-ups! :)

Thanks.

I opted that, in the case of the White God the act of Faith bathes areas in a soft glow, not as bright as the sun at all, but enough to see clearly to 2-300 metres, outside areas of true Faith , the light dims to blackness. The North isles where Norsemen hold power is mostly dark...except where a few have converted (with genuine belief)

In Ireland which is where the players are headed now I have to ponder on how the Pantheons there effect things, while Christianity has some impact, the old Celtic gods hold greater sway...
