We're finishing up the movie, so once it's done we'll launch. Until then, you will get a bunch of content reveals on our Twitter, Facebook and G+ news feeds. Of course you forum guys and gals always get the news much earlier- I tend to blab LOL. I'm always on the fence how much of the stuff to feed the content managers. For today's reveal, I could have sent out more info on the Muspeli meeting the frozen behemoths of Niflheim (I call them the Alsvartr). Nidhogg is the last survivor after the great confrontation with the Muspeli Jotuns (most of which also lost their lives and became the stars). Very few grown Muspeli Jotuns remain, and their tragic story is told in the second part of the prologue. If you can tell, I'm eager to share this next book with you guys. I'm also kicking myself in the butt to clean up the first Alpha of LotA so I can put it up for early consumption. It's still in its infancy, but there are tid bits you guys can start discussing and helping me bring to fruition. :)

bump

Guys, any specific requests for pledge levels?

Right now we have:

- curious
- digital book
- print book
- digital bundle
- boxed set

I'm mulling over the "++" early access BETA LotA levels, they seemed to be popular for DotN but I'd like to minimize the number of pledge levels... maybe as an extra?

Anyhow your 11th hour feedback is always welcome. We're almost there!

i think

-curious
-digital
-digital + print

i don't see much of a point to a print without a digital. Boxed set is of little interest to me. No reason to not offer it, but it seems odd that you would go whole hog into a boxed set if you are getting in on this kickstarter when the boxed set is already available :)

I like the idea of beta, to be honest. One thing that I know some very successful kickstarters have done is include beta access in any digital level, because they can solicit feedback in the betas to a broader audience. betas always go out in relatively crude pdfs, no art, etc. sometimes in pieces (numenera's was in pieces, so were a couple of others).

He's got a point. With all of this.

question - do you have any stretch goals? adventures make good stretch goals, for example.

Hmmm interesting. The personal challenge is bandwidth. The Illuminated Edda will be the most text I've committed between two covers. Lords of the Ash will be in the ballpark of DotN, a real beast, so with so many penmanship commitments, I'd be more eager to gravitate towards non-literary stretch goals... that of I invite guest authors to create adventures from skeletons provided.

yea, you'd probably have to invite folks for that, no doubt. However, I have seen that work fairly well.

Other thoughts -
sheet(s) of punch-out runes (sort of like punch out business cards)
pledge levels/add-ons that are discounts at DTRPG (like... $10 gets you a $15 discount or something), especially if you tie them to direct products (fafnir's, core book) - sort of an incentive to try it out.
pledge level with you running a game

You thought about contacting the Saga Thing guys to talk about the Eddas? Might be a good selling video/talk, etc. I know they are familiar with Skype

Just coming in from the cold, I would very much like the boxed set as possible stretch level.
