One of my players has a passive heal of 6. Playing on the easy wound track makes any damage I do less detrimental (which I'm fine with). However, his heal negates most damage I can do. How do you get past passive heal? My only thought is spiritual damage into drain.

Degeneration is an obvious choice here. Auras are good too. Try amplifying some of your attacks.

Also, conditions are not affected by healing. You can remove him from the fight pretty easily with conditions.

What's he got that is giving him a passive healing of 6? What level?

He's a level 10 Galdr. I'll look this afternoon when I get home. I know one is Rune of Blood, but I'm not sure of the other.

It increases the numeric value on the degeneration condition. So you would need to amplify a degen +1 to get to degen +4 and double the damage.

rune of blood is +3 heal, +4 recovery, so it's quite strong in that sense. Half way there already.

important things to know - you have to do ALL of the heals first then the recovery or ALL of the recovery then the heals. you can't part heal them use recoveries, for instance.

6 healing isn't that much. It's about enough to keep down a degeneration at low levels :) Don't be too concerned about the numbers. An Amplified claymore attack does 8, for example. Kicking upwards into the 100s at later levels is not hard at all.

Also, but be careful with this, you could make enough damage with spiritual to place rune(s) in drain and that would not be healed during the fight.
